Letter -- Greener safer A329(M), reduce the speed limit

Dear Editor,

There has been some talk about spending £4 to £6 million to put a crash barrier along the A329(M) after the recent accident. Its always a tradgedy when someone dies, and the family have my sympathy.

The police are still investigating the crash so we shouldn't comment on this individual case. Throughout the country people drive on roads without a crash barrier at 70mph. So does this road, and indeed every high speed road, need a crash barrier?
